Williams Tower Gallery: Steamrolled V

Williams Tower Gallery has been under the watchful, creative, precise eye of Sally Sprout for decades. She consistently brings in high quality exhibits that run the gambit of fine art in Houston (and beyond). The current exhibit is one of very large, woodblock prints. Executed/organized by of PrintMatters, there are 3′ x 4′ and 3′ x 5′ (yes, that’s feet) and all were made in one day in a huge event that celebrates large-scale printmaking. In celebration of the 5th anniversary of this event, 10 additional prints were chosen from the 2012-14 events.

I have selected works that I think are good buys. All these are unframed so any purchase will be followed by a significant framing order. I heard there’s a framer in town doing these for $300 each but I’m sure that doesn’t include uv-resistant plexiglass. Please see my view on this here.

The exhibit is on view through July 10, 2015, M-F, 8:00am – 6:00pm at 2800 Post Oak Blvd, 77056. All sales inquiries should be directed to the individual artists. Be sure to say you saw them here!
