Glassell School: SAO/Select 2014

The Glassell School of Art (a part of the MFAH), shows student work most all the time. I keep telling people to keep it on their radar but that’s why I’m here, right? The downstairs still has the annual juried exhibit but upstairs is a new, separate exhibit. For this, two instructors, Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak and Jeff Forester, curated works from past students. The Glassell doesn’t post contact information OR prices on wall tags, much to the detriment of the participating artists and viewers alike!

It’s worth going to see some amazing work even if it’s not for sale. You might recognize a name or two.

The exhibit is up through September 21 atĀ 5101 Montrose BoulevardĀ Houston, Texas 77006.
