Here I share an update on an artist I featured 7 years ago. Gabriel Prusmack is still at it and making art full time now. As I said before:

In the way that fashion photography of the 1970’s infiltrated the fine art world, street artists of the 2010’s are being accepted by the fine art world as “artists”. Prusmack pushes his medium away from urban walls to surfaces he builds out of reclaimed wood pieces in his native Galveston, TX. However, his compositions, colors and subjects are firmly rooted in the street art mentality. Looking at his work, you sense an experienced and skilled artist at work but one that is not afraid of pushing your preconceptions of fine art. Frankly, I consider his work a “buy” at this point of his career if you want to add depth to your collection. He is an artist who speaks of his time in a captivating way that is easy to live with.
